Chicago Federation of Labor

The Chicago Federation of Labor (CFL) is the central labor body for over 300 Chicago area unions affiliated with the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor - Congress of Industrial Organizations). The membership of these unions exceeds 500,000.

The Chicago Federation of Labor is a career patron of former Senate President Emil Jones (D).

From 1993 to June 30, 2003, Chicago Federation of Labor gave $620,800 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 87% of which was contributed to Democrats.
