Citizens for Leuchtefeld

Citizens for Luechtefeld is the political committee of Sen. David Luechtefeld, a Republican who has represented the Metro East area for six terms in the Senate. He is currently the Assistant Minority Leader in the State Senate. He sits on the committees of the Committee of the Whole, Consumer Protection, Commerce, Education, Higher Education, and Elections. Senator Luechtefeld co-chaired Judge Lloyd Karmeier’s campaign for the 5th District seat on the Illinois Supreme Court.

Citizens for Luechtefeld is a career patron of former Senate Republican Leader Frank Watson.

From January 1, 1993 through December 31, 2005, Citizens for Luechtefeld contributed $116,000 to candidates for statewide constitutional, legislative, and judicial office, all of it to Republicans.
