Illinois Pharmacists Association

The Illinois Pharmacists Association (IPhA), headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, is an organization that provides pharmacy practice settings with continuing education opportunities, business and professional development material, industry news, and a variety of membership services. IPhA works with state legislators and regulatory officials to advance the needs of pharmacists and consumers in Illinois. Through the Illinois Pharmacy Political Action Committee, IPhA solicits contributions, pools funds, and makes donations to the campaigns of candidates for state offices.

The Illinois Pharmacists Association is a career patron of former Senate Republican Leader Frank Watson (R).

From 1993 through June 30, 2003, the Illinois Pharmacists Association gave $248,115 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office. 69% went to Republicans.
