JUSTPAC
The Illinois Civil Justice League (ICJL), founded in 1992, is a coalition of Illinois citizens, small and large businesses, associations, professional societies, not-for-profit organizations and local governments. The League favors limits on jury verdicts, restrictions on class action lawsuits, and prohibitions on “venue shopping” among other tort reforms.
From 1993 through June 30, 2007, the ICJL have contributed $1,927,000 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative offices. 99% of these funds have been contributed to Republicans.
