Lennon, Karen

Karen Lennon is the president and founder of Wessex504, a non-profit development company which provides mortgage financing for small businesses.  Previously, Lennon was the president of SomerCor 504, which also provided mortgage financing to small businesses.  In 1999, SomerCor 504 was selected by the City of Chicago to be the administrator of its Tax Increment Financing program for small businesses.  Lennon is also the former president of the Metropolitan Chicago Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, served on the Small Business Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.

Karen Lennon is a career patron of former-Governor Rod Blagojevich (D).

From 1993 to 2001, Karen Lennon gave $37,750 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 100% of which was contributed to Democrats.
