LaSalle Bank

Acquired by Bank of America in 2007, LaSalle Bank, based in Chicago, is the second-largest commercial bank in Illinois. It holds $69.8 billion in assets and $39.8 billion in deposits. LaSalle is an indirect subsidiary of Dutch bank ABN AMRO.

LaSalle Bank is a career patron of Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka (R).

From January 1, 1993 through June 30, 2006, LaSalle Bank gave $450,000 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 61% of which went to Republicans.
