Martin, Tim

Timothy P. Martin is a partner in the Wheaton law firm of Martin, Kent, & Reidy and specializes his practice in criminal defense and divorce law.  He is a former prosecutor for the DuPage County State's Attorneys Office.  Martin served as President of the DuPage County Criminal Defense Bar Association and is currently Director of the Bar Association of DuPage County.  Martin is a Commissioner on the Illinois Racing Board, appointed by former-Governor Blagojevich.

Tim Martin is a career patron of former Attorney General candidate Joe Birkett (R).

From 1993 to June 2002, Tim Martin contributed $100,000 to Illinois legislative and statewide candidates, all of which went to Republicans.From 1993 to 2004, Tim Martin gave $113, 818 to Illinois legislative and statewide candidates, including a $100,000 loan to Joe Birkett. Since 2008, Martin’s new firm, Martin & Kent, has given $6,000 to Illinois candidates.
