Stephenson, Richard

Richard Stephenson is an investor with International Capital Investment and also owns the Tudor Oaks horse farm, located in Barrington Hills. Tudor Oaks is a breeder and trainer of imported Austrian Haflingers. Richard Stephenson founded the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Schaumburg in 1988 and has served as the Chairman of the Board since then. Cancer Treatment Centers of America currently operates clinics in Illinois and several other states. Richard Stephenson also serves on the board of directors for FreedomWorks (formerly called Citizens for a Sound Economy,) a conservative political organization and PAC that advocates for lower taxes, small government, and economic deregulation.

Richard Stephenson is a career patron of former Lieutenant Governor Corinne Wood (R).

From 1995 to 2001, Richard Stephenson gave $82,750 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 100% of which was contributed to Republicans.
