White, Secretary of State Jesse
Secretary of State Jesse White contributes to candidates through his political action committee, Citizens for Jesse White. White was elected Secretary of State of Illinois in 1998. Prior to his election as Secretary of State, White served as Cook County Recorder of Deeds, having been elected to the post in 1992 and re-elected in 1996. Prior to his election as recorder, he served 16 years in the Illinois General Assembly.
Citizens for Jesse White is a career patron of Attorney General Lisa Madigan (D).
From 1993 through December 31, 2002, Citizens for Jesse White gave $165,000 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, all to Democrats.
