Romano Brothers Beverage Company is a Chicago-based beer and liquor distributor. They employ over 600 people and in 1999 distributed about one-third of all the alcoholic beverages in Illinois. In 2003, Romano Brothers Beverage Company was purchased by the largest distributor of wine and spirits in the U.S., Southern Wine and Spirits of America, Inc. The company remains an active member of the Illinois Wholesalers Association.
