United Auto Workers PAC

The International Union of Automobile, Aerospace, and Agricultural Employment Workers of America (UAW) region 4 headquarters is located in Lincolnshire, IL. The UAW has more than 390,000 active members and more than 600,000 retired members in North America. UAW members are predominately in manufacturing, but some are in the service sector. Stated aims of UAW include protecting worker rights and lobbying for assistance for the auto and manufacturing industries.

United Auto Workers' Illinois is a career patron of Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn (D), Attorney General Lisa Madigan (D), and Senate President Emil Jones (D).

From 1993 through June 30, 2007, United Auto Workers' Illinois gave $1,836,000 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 99% of which was contributed to Democrats.
